TRIGGER THRESHOLD
The
trigger threshold is the low pressure warning value, when the system
determines you have a tire pressure safety problem or a deflation pressure
problem. Several TPMS systems have a warning at
25% below the suggested tire pressure. This was mandated by the National
Highway Traffic Safety Administration. under the enforcement of the TREAD act. 5,000
members of the TIA, Tire Industry Association, which also includes major Tire
suppliers oppose this trigger threshold of 25% as being dangerous. With
Pressure Track
SuperData 4 you can adjust the alarm to a recommended percentage low pressure
setting for your tire.
